Empire Roofing, A Tecta America Company, has grown significantly over the years, thanks in large part to its commitment to quality and word-of-mouth promotion. It has expanded to multiple locations and was recently acquired by Tecta America Corporation, one of the largest roofing contractors in the United States.
 
We are looking for commercial roofing sheet metal service foreman in Sunrise, FL! 
Commercial Roofing Sheet Metal Service Foreman Summary:
Responsible for fabrication and installation of all sheet metal on various commercial roof systems. You will be working with the roofing crew to complete all aspects of assigned job including tear-off of existing gutters and coping cap, installations, and other tasks assigned
Commercial Roofing Sheet Metal Service Foreman Requirements:
  • 5+ years commercial experience sheet metal roofing.
  • Set up and oversees small jobs
  • Communicate with customers and maintain good working relationships
  • Experience with standing seam metal roof system, metal wall panel system, plate and ACM metal wall panel systems.
  • Experience in single-ply membrane systems.
  • Supervisory or management experience is preferred
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. regularly, repeated bending, climbing, kneeling
  • Must be able to climb a ladder 40'
  • Must be able to work in the heat and sub-zero cold
  • No fear of heights
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must work well in a team environment
Commercial Roofing Sheet Metal Service Foreman Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate sheet metal fabrication equipment, including brake presses, shears
  • Valid Driver’s License is Required
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes and interruptions
