Commercial Sales & Operations Manager

Position Overview

We're looking for an Outside Sales Manager who enjoys building relationships, winning new business, and helping ensure our customers receive outstanding service. This hybrid role combines sales and business development with some hands -on operational support, making it a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast -paced environment and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed.

You'll be the face of our company in the local market—developing new client relationships, managing existing accounts, and helping ensure every job meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development (Approximately 65%)

• Identify and pursue new commercial clients through networking, referrals, research, and outbound outreach
  
• Meet with prospective customers to understand their needs and present our services
  
• Perform live demonstrations of services such as carpet, tile, and upholstery cleaning
  
• Prepare proposals, negotiate, and close new business opportunities
  
• Keep accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM
  
• Build lasting relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
  

Operations & Service Delivery (Approximately 35%)

• Assist with hands -on cleaning and restoration services as needed to help maintain quality standards
  
• Create work orders and coordinate with technicians to ensure jobs are completed accurately
  
• Conduct quality inspections and follow up with customers after services are completed
  
• Help with scheduling, resource planning, and daily operations
  
• Support and motivate a small team to deliver excellent customer service
  

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous sales experience, preferably in commercial services, facilities, restoration, cleaning, or a related industry
  
• Strong communication, relationship -building, and closing skills
  
• Comfortable meeting with customers and performing product or service demonstrations
  
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
