Job Summary
Mercedes-Benz Van Center of North Haven is seeking a highly motivated and driven Client Advisor – Commercial & Retail Sales to join our growing team. This role is responsible for generating sales across Mercedes-Benz Vans (Sprinter) commercial/fleet clients, and select off-brand pre-owned inventory.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with business owners, fleet managers, and retail clients, understands solution-based selling, and thrives in a commission-only environment with unlimited earning potential.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time, commission-only sales position in the automotive industry with annual earning potential ranging from $75,000 to $300,000+, paid weekly.

Responsibilities
- Prospect, develop, and manage commercial, fleet, and retail client relationships
- Sell Mercedes-Benz Vans (Sprinter) for business, upfitting, and fleet use
- Identify opportunities to sell off-brand and pre-owned vehicles to meet customer needs and close deals efficiently
- Conduct needs-based consultations for business owners, contractors, and fleet decision-makers
- Present vehicle features, upfit options, financing, and leasing solutions tailored to commercial use
- Maintain working knowledge of Mercedes-Benz products, commercial incentives, and off-brand inventory
- Actively follow up on leads from multiple sources including walk-ins, phone, internet, and commercial prospecting
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals across retail, commercial, and off-brand segments
- Build long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
- Coordinate with management, finance, and service departments to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Ensure all sales activities comply with dealership policies and manufacturer guidelines
Requirements
- 2+ years of automotive sales experience preferred (commercial or fleet sales a plus)
- Experience working with business clients, fleet accounts, or off-brand inventory strongly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage a pipeline of commercial and retail clients
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and dealership software
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
