Commercial Security Systems Estimator

The Commercial Security Systems Estimator at Illuminated Integration is a crucial role that interfaces closely with our clients and internal teams to provide comprehensive solutions for our clients' security needs. This role requires a solid understanding of commercial security systems, including expertise in surveillance cameras, intrusion detection systems, access control, and related technology.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial security system projects, including labor, materials, and time requirements.
• Review plans and specifications to understand the scope of projects and ensure that all elements have been accurately incorporated into cost estimates.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop proposal strategies and solutions that meet client requirements and expectations.
• Meet with clients to discuss and understand their security needs, and present proposals and cost estimates.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in security systems estimating or related field in a commercial setting.
• Thorough knowledge of security systems technologies, including surveillance cameras, intrusion detection systems, and access control.
• Proven ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Google Workspace.
• Must hold relevant certifications in security systems or estimating. A degree in a related field will be an added advantage.
