Commercial Sheet Metal Mechanic

Location: Bowling Green, KY
Pay Range: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)

We are hiring Commercial Sheet Metal Mechanics in Bowling Green, KY for multiple HVAC and ductwork installation projects. Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal systems (primarily HVAC ductwork)

• Measure and mark materials for cutting, bending, and assembly

• Operate tools including shears, brakes, punches, and welding equipment

• Install ductwork in commercial buildings following mechanical drawings and specs

• Seal joints and seams for efficiency and compliance

• Lift and place materials with assistance or mechanical equipment

• Work safely at heights, on ladders, and in tight spaces when needed

• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in commercial sheet metal installation

• Proficiency in reading blueprints, layout drawings, and specifications

• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and metal fabrication equipment

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus

• Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs and working in physically demanding environments

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
