Commercial Solar Project Manager

This is a full-time, direct placement role at Citadel Roofing and Solar.

Experience: 

• Construction Industry: 5 years 

• Commercial Solar: 2 years 

• Project Management: 2 years 

Description: We are searching for a Retro Commercial Solar Project Manager to drive and manage our commercial and ground mount solar projects throughout California. Project sizes will range in size from 20kW – 3mW. They will be responsible for managing the projects from contract to Permission to operate. 

Responsibilities: 

• Engage with customers as the main point of contact during their project 

• Create and maintain project schedule and deliverables 

• Oversee design and engineering of projects 

• Manage and coordinate permits with permitting coordinator 

• Manage utility applications 

• Coordinate procurement of materials with purchasing manager 

• Coordinate and provide direction to field crews 

• Manage and coordinate invoicing 

• Assist project developers with budgeting, bidding, designing, and contracting projects

Qualifications: 

• 3+ years construction and commercial solar experience 

• 2+ years of project management or construction operations experience 

• Solid understanding of the commercial project cycle 

• Knowledge of commercial solar equipment and solutions: panels, racking, inverters, and batteries 

• Knowledge of all system types: roof mount, ground mount, carports, etc 

• Knowledge of electrical code 

• Knowledge of 3 phase electrical systems
