Commercial Start-up HVAC Technician

Coastal Mechanical is seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Start-up HVAC Technician. This position will assist our licensed technicians in the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems for both residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate must be willing to learn, have a positive attitude, possess a strong work ethic and be fluent in the English language. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and great benefits.

Requirements

- installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems.

- Operate and maintain tools and equipment according to safety standards.

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as replacing filters and cleaning equipment.

- Assist with troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC system issues.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors.

- Adhere to company policies and procedures.

- Continuously learn and improve technical skills.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Prior experience as an HVAC Technician Helper is a plus.

- Knowledge of basic hand and power tools.

- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Willingness to learn and take direction from licensed technicians.

- Own transportation and a valid driver's license.

Essential Functions:

· Climbing up and down ladders

· Push, pull and frequently carry objects as tools, materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. –

· Stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. – Stand and walk for long periods of time. –

· See and hear well with or without correction to avoid safety hazards to themselves and others.

· Overtime and weekend availability, regular attendance

· Work in heat and various other weather conditions

· Possible travel to current job sites within Florida
