Description

Commercial Tire Inside Sales/Front End person

General Description:

Sell merchandise such as tires, wheels, accessories, and vehicle maintenance services to customers in person and by telephone. 

Customer service: 

  • Greet walk-in customers and ascertain customer needs/desires; go out to vehicle to inspect tires. 
  • Answer telephones using Best-One phone shop standards o Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise; may assist customer in loading tires o Handle customer inquiries and requests regarding accounts, products, rates, and services.

Obtain orders: 

  • Pursue new customers via phone solicitation 
  • Ability to learn and operate point of sale system to create work orders and invoice customers in a timely and efficient manner o Compute sales prices, total purchases, and process payments 
  • Maintain knowledge of current fleet programs, national accounts, and promotions o Maintain knowledge of policies regarding payment, exchanges, and returns, and security practices 

Billing: 

  • Responsible for invoicing and filing of work orders 
  • Generate computer bills 
  • Work with customers to resolve credit issues and develop payment plans

Other: 

  • Clean shelves, counters, and tables 
  • Meet the requirements outlined in the company’s evaluation form

Physical Demands / Work Environment

  • Frequent squatting, bending, and twisting. 
  • Repetitive motion 
  • Standing for extended periods of time. 
  • Vision (Near, distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception) 
  • Sense of sound (Alarms, horns and motorized equipment)

  • Automotive repair: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
