Commercial Truck Technician

Mardela Springs, MD | All Roads Trucks / Kenworth

We are seeking a skilled diesel technician to join our team in Mardela Springs, MD. In this role, you will diagnose, service, and repair heavy- and medium-duty commercial trucks. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated, with a strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. Prior experience working on Kenworth trucks is preferred but not required.

Compensation & Schedule

$27–$37/hour (based on experience)
Production bonuses available
Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 (for qualified candidates)
Full-time, first shift — Monday–Friday

Responsibilities

Service, diagnose, and repair diesel vehicles as directed by the Service Manager
Troubleshoot malfunctions and provide effective repair solutions
Create accurate repair estimates (CDK experience a plus)
Maintain precise documentation of all repairs performed and parts used
Communicate with OEM/factory tech support as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Prior experience diagnosing and repairing diesel vehicles
High school diploma or GED
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
