We currently have an opening for a Commercial Information Assistance (CIA) - Lead in our Troy, Ohio location.
Responsibilities/Principal Duties:
- Qualify, interpret, create and sell commercial project opportunities within an assigned region by understanding building application, architect design intent, code compliance, market pricing, margin guidelines and technical requirements that may vary broadly in nature
- Compare competitive market intelligence in the top regional markets on comparable products, market pricing, and competitor news with key commercial customers
- Interpret, create and supply complex submittal documents after project award that include product data sheets, accurate shop drawing details, installation instructions and code compliant material
- While serving as the point of contact for commercial technical questions, build trusted advisor relationships with large commercial customers, by providing recommended products for applications, technical expertise, clearance requirements to ensure a trouble-free product and installation
- Determine pricing/margin requirements on a project basis that maximizes profitability through upselling and value engineering of commercial projects with minimal supervision.

- Interpret and comprehend engineering and technical documents for commercial projects.
- Ability to interpret and read project blue prints, drawings, door schedules, elevations and specifications
- Review monthly region quote logs to target specific follow up opportunities
- Work closely with Supervisor to meet departmental needs such as Call Monitoring, Metric and Goal setting for performance review. Provide support in areas such as timecard edits, performance review input, counseling, etc.
- Provide approval for lower-than-average sales margin on large commercial quotes.
- Train, instruct and orient new associates on systems and Identify training needs for existing employees and conduct necessary training.
Education: Associates degree, bachelors preferred; or two years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Prior sales experience, product installation, technical knowledge and project estimating in a customer service environment. Oracle experience a plus.
