Communication Officer

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sustainability Communication Officer to lead and promote the company's sustainability initiatives. The ideal candidate will develop communication strategies, manage stakeholder engagement, oversee CSR communication, and prepare sustainability reports while enhancing the company's brand and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sustainability communication strategies and campaigns.


• Create engaging content for websites, social media, newsletters, and other communication channels.


• Manage public relations activities related to sustainability and CSR initiatives.


• Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, media, NGOs, and other stakeholders.


• Lead the preparation of annual sustainability reports in line with global standards (GRI, CDP, UN SDGs).


• Coordinate CSR projects and ensure alignment with business objectives.


• Monitor sustainability trends, regulations, and industry best practices.


• Track and evaluate the impact of sustainability campaigns and communication activities.


• Promote employee engagement in sustainability and CSR initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, or a related field.


• Master's degree or professional certification in Sustainability is an added advantage.


• Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability communication, public affairs, CSR, or related roles.


• Experience in sustainability reporting and corporate communications is preferred.


• Fluency in Nepali and English.

Required Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and reporting standards (GRI, CDP, UN SDGs).


• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.


• Experience with digital communication tools and social media platforms.


• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of sustainability reporting tools is an advantage.


• Creative thinking, attention to detail, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills.
