Overview:

As a Communications Associate, you will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication both internally and externally for our organization. You will work closely with the communications team to develop and implement strategies to enhance our brand image, engage stakeholders, and promote our mission. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong written and verbal communication skills, creativity, and the ability to collaborate across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Management: Manage and maintain the organization's social media accounts. Develop and implement social media campaigns to increase visibility, engagement, and followership.
2. Media Relations: Assist in building and maintaining relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers. Draft press releases, media pitches, and other materials to secure media coverage.
3. Internal Communications: Support internal communication efforts by drafting internal announcements, newsletters, and other materials to keep employees informed and engaged.
4. Event Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating events such as press conferences, webinars, and community outreach programs. Handle logistics, invitations, and promotional materials as needed.
5. Brand Management: Work closely with the communications team to ensure consistency in branding across all communication channels. Help develop and maintain brand guidelines.
6. Research and Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in communications and marketing. Make recommendations for innovative approaches to communication.

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in social media management tools, content management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with graphic design and video editing software is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
