Location:  New Orleans, LA  (On-site – Must work from the office)


Working Hours: Monday to Friday


Description



We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Communications Coordinator to join our team and play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our organization's internal and external communications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies that promote our brand, engage our audiences, and support our overall objectives. 



Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies aligned with organizational goals.

  • Create, edit, and distribute engaging content for various platforms including social media, newsletters, and press releases.

  • Manage and update the company website to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

  • Coordinate media relations and act as a liaison between the organization and external press.

  • Organize and support internal communication initiatives to promote employee engagement and information sharing.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in a communications role, preferably within a corporate or nonprofit environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in content management systems, social media platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
