The Communications Director is responsible for developing and implementing the country club’s communication and marketing strategies to engage current members and attract prospective members. This role oversees all internal and external messaging, digital content, and branding initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and manage the club’s communications calendar, including newsletters, email campaigns, social media, and website content.
Hire all outside vendors for year round member events (bingo, trivia, music, comedy, etc)
Design and distribute daily, weekly or monthly member updates, event announcements, and promotional materials.
Work closely with department heads to gather and promote club news, events, and achievements.
Ensure all branding, messaging, and visual identity is consistent and professional.
Oversee photography and videography of key events for promotional use.
Create print and digital marketing materials for member recruitment and retention.
Analyze engagement metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
Keep key staff informed of registrations for club event.
Provide support for internal communications, such as employee announcements and member notices.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or related field preferred.
3+ years experience in in a communications or marketing role; hospitality or private club experience preferred.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools, email platforms, and design software (e.g.,Canva, Adobe Suite).
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Experience managing social media and websites.
Highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented.
