Location:

Remote within the DC Metro Area. Team members need to live in DC, Maryland, or Northern Virginia. Our team members generally work from their home offices. This position includes attending several in-person meetings and events.

The Den Collective is at the cutting edge of the changing American Jewish landscape, working to co-create a Judaism that is relevant, accessible, and inherently rooted in tradition, in partnership with 20s – 40s throughout the Greater D.C. area. The Den seeks a Communications + Operations Associate to join our staff team and provide logistics and operations support to the team. This role will support scheduling and administration as well as data and reporting. This role serves as a liaison to the Board of Directors and members of the community, and will also oversee several special projects. A successful candidate will be a natural relationship builder and team player who thrives on deepening connections and is enthusiastic about sustaining the Den’s vision for the Jewish future.

Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency using Zoom and working with Google Drive, Microsoft Office, and calendar software, and a background in, or the ability to learn quickly, other relevant technologies such as Monday.com and a customer relations management system (Salesforce).
Available to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities Include
Help to manage the Executive Director’s scheduling, coordinate meetings with Den community members and external stakeholders; provide relevant prep materials and appropriate follow-up.
Collaborate with the team to support programmatic planning and logistics; update events on website, book venues, organize catering, manage event registration, communicate with registrants, be present at events as needed.
Assist in Salesforce data and reporting, including: inputting data, pulling reports, and gathering data.
Support fundraising efforts including the preparation and sending of donor acknowledgments and reports.
Coordinate logistics for Board of Directors and Advisory Council meetings (4 times per year). Specific responsibilities include organizing and distributing agendas, master calendaring, and preparing meeting minutes.
Write, proofread, and edit correspondence as requested.
Work on special projects as assigned.
