Job Description - Communications Senior Manager


Pacific Edge Sports Academy Inc. is a company whose mission is to support every child's developing life story through youth sports. Customer Business Hours:

MON - 2:30pm to 8:00pm
TUE - 2:30pm to 8:00pm
WED - 2:30pm to 8:00pm
THU - 10:30am to 2:00pm, 2:30pm to 8:00pm
FRI - 2:30pm to 8:00pm
SAT - 8:45am to 1:30pm (1:30pm to 9:00pm for events)
SUN - CLOSED

 

Communications Senior Manager: Overseeing Member Services, Retail & Marketing

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Communications Senior Manager to lead our Member Services, Retail, and Marketing departments. This leadership role oversees four supervisors and is responsible for departmental growth, brand strategy, staff management, and delivering an exceptional customer lifecycle experience.

This position is 20+ hours per week, with the potential to grow into a full-time (30–40 hours/week) role. The role includes shifts at customer-facing service desks as needed.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide leadership and accountability across three departments
  • Manage and develop four supervisors and their teams
  • Oversee staff scheduling and operational efficiency
  • Lead marketing strategy, brand direction, and campaign execution
  • Support and model excellence in customer service
  • Drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and retail growth
  • Align service delivery with organizational vision and performance goals
 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 3+ years of management experience (multi-department oversight preferred)
  • Strong background in marketing strategy and brand management
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive measurable results
  • Availability must align with our operating hours and business needs. Saturday availability is strongly preferred.


Compensation: $27.55–$30.83 per hour (based on experience and qualifications).
