Communications Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Communications Specialist for our healthcare client in Brentwood, TN to develop and execute communications supporting organizational priorities, change management, and business initiatives. This role will partner with leaders and subject matter experts to create clear, engaging messaging for diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communication plans supporting organizational changes and priorities.
• Write clear, compelling content for executive communications, emails, newsletters, intranet, talking points, video scripts, and presentations.
• Translate complex or sensitive business information into accessible communications.
• Develop messaging for executives, senior leaders, people leaders, and employees.
• Manage communication timelines, editorial calendars, content plans, and project deliverables.
• Partner with leaders and subject matter experts to ensure messaging aligns with business objectives.
• Recommend appropriate audiences, communication channels, timing, and messaging.
• Support internal newsletters from content development through distribution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 3+ years of experience in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
• Strong writing, editing, project management, and communication skills.
• Experience developing communications for multiple audiences and channels.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 days remote
