Client has an exciting opportunity for a Change & Communication Specialist to support a multi-year project to implement Workday's Human Capital Management system. The specialist will support the Change Management workstream, which is leading the communication, training and change management strategies and plans to ensure a smooth implementation. The ideal candidates will possess knowledge and experience with change and/or communication efforts, as well as managing and executing against project plans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Partner with our Marketing teams to provide strategic direction, message development and planning for the new HR system and processes Consult with internal and external clients and vendors to identify communication goals and objectives, recommend and execute solutions and drive towards execution timelines. Support stakeholder engagement by arranging meetings, events and other stakeholder engagement activities Carry out delegated activities and ensure others are executing on their deliverables to support the overall project plans and efforts Prepare moderately complex documents such as training guides, PowerPoints, videos, and reports using a variety of office software (e.g., PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, SharePoint, Smartsheet) Support the development and completion of training plans, which includes collaborating with training partners to ensure materials are developed, reviewed and approved Contribute to the management of training resources by maintaining training plans and tracking budgets, spend and training certifications for system support teams Provide project and operational support to the Workday change network, to include organizing and maintaining SharePoint site, information, monthly meetings, readiness assessments and overall engagement with the group
Skills: Job Qualifications: Fundamental knowledge of public communications concepts, practices and procedures. Fundamental knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools Skilled at managing time to handle multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment. Skilled at using office software programs and collaboration tools, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint, to create documents, spreadsheets, e-mails and presentations. Demonstrated ability to execute on communication and change management plans, including communications, training, and adoption strategies Ability to work independently and take ownership of the role and responsibilities. Positive individual with strong communication skills; able to partner well with global stakeholders and development teams, tailoring the messaging to the appropriate audiences. Ability to plan and prioritize work and hold self and others accountable to meet commitments. Knows the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement; able to promptly and effectively addresses process breakdowns. Consistently drives results with detail-orientation. Ability to make good and timely decisions within area of responsibility and when dealing with highly sensitive data
Education: Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, human resources or related field and 3+ years' experience in a corporate setting, public relations agency or similar area.
