On-Site in West Houston, TX
Responsibilities:
• Implement communications plans and tactics in support of the Low Carbon Technologies
• Develop content for internal and external communications channels including emails, the company's intranet, presentations, videos, and more to further business objectives.
• Support external communications activities including messages, talking points and presentations
• Prepare draft materials and presentations for approval to low-carbon and sustainability-related speaking engagements and industry events.
• Maintain and organize repository for LCT communications
• Develop internal communications stories and related products through subject matter interviews
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree or higher in Communications, Public Relations or Journalism
• 5+ years of communications experience in a PR agency or consultancy, state/federal government
• Experience managing and resolving complex new energies public affairs issues.
• High knowledge and experience with low carbon technologies and new energies.
• Understanding of organizational change management practices and considerations.
• Posses strong communication, planning, organization and execution
• Have a track record as a team player and ability to work cross-functionally
• Must have high research, writing and editing skills
• Can work independently and managing competing priorities with tight deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, deadline-oriented dynamic environment with regular changes
