Job Description - Community & Growth Lead

About The Role

As our first Go-to-Market hire, you’ll shape how the most respected startups discover, adopt, and talk about Lightfield. You’ll lead events, create content, run campaigns, and build momentum across founder-facing channels. The mandate is simple: earn the attention of top startups, help them succeed with Lightfield, and make it obvious to the rest of the ecosystem that they’ve made the right choice.

You’ll lead the charge on how Lightfield shows up in the world—through events, content, and founder-facing campaigns. This role is about pace, precision, and taste. You’ll take early momentum and turn it into real traction, shaping the programs and narratives that make Lightfield the obvious choice for the most respected startups. Along the way, you’ll help create moments that travel—tweets, launches, ideas, and voices that punch far above our weight.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and host high-signal founder events—founder-led sales series, company launch events, AMAs with CEOs + founders + VCs, and gatherings in SF

  • Build and maintain a presence across X, LinkedIn, and founder communities

  • Run conversion campaigns to activate and retain top-tier startups from our waitlist

  • Create content founders actually want to read and share: product breakdowns, launch teardowns, POVs on how modern sales should work

  • Collaborate on messaging, launch strategy, and founder-facing decks and narratives

  • Drive press, social virality, and brand credibility in startup-heavy circles


Your Goals

  • Attract high-quality startups to Lightfield and convert them into active, vocal users

  • Make those founders proud to show they’re using Lightfield—and eager to tell others

  • Create a surface area that compounds: credible, stylish, and hard to ignore


You Might Be a Fit If You

  • Have 2–6 years of experience in community, growth, or GTM at a fast-moving startup

  • Have built things from scratch—events, newsletters, microsites, programs that actually shipped

  • Write clearly, execute quickly, and know how to make things spread

  • Understand what makes founders tick—and how to earn their attention and trust

  • Want real ownership, fast cycles, and the opportunity to shape something breakout

  • A personal presence on X or LinkedIn, or a network in early-stage/startup circles

  • Experience with design tools

  • A track record of shipping founder-facing campaigns, events, or communities
