Job Description - Community Coordinator

The Community Outreach Coordinator will be our public-facing brand ambassador that is the firm’s boots-on-the-ground eyes and ears in our local community. As the community outreach coordinator, your job will be to visit locations that our clients visit, such as veterans service organizations, social security offices, local social events such as festivals, block parties, bars, restaurants, trade shows and fundraisers. The community outreach coordinator will also organize several annual events such as our back-to-school backpack giveaway, Thanksgiving food giveaway and free ice cream days at local parks and beaches.
This position will require a flexible schedule that allows you to work days, nights and weekends.
Responsibilities

Organize the firm’s annual community give-back events including our backpack giveaway, Thanksgiving food giveaway and our 7 nights a year that we provide free taxi rides to help prevent drunk driving accidents.
Coordinate with other local organizations to help more people in the community that our services could provide help to.
Identify additional events that our firm should participate in.
Develop social media strategies to build attendance at local events and shoot content for social media at each local event.
Order and manage giveaways at each local event.
Facilitate brand management decisions related to all special projects and marketing material.
Create testimonial videos with happy clients.
Report to executive board in regards to attendance at local events, number of engaged potential clients and number of new sign-ups.

Qualifications

Must have a clean driving record. This position will require you to drive a branded company vehicle.
3+ years of customer service experience
3+ years of marketing or event coordination experience.
Organized, self-starter with a focus on client-centric experience
Exceptional negotiating, interpersonal, presentation, persuasion, and communication skills
