Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Department: Office
Reports To: Melissa Hooker
Supervisory Responsibilities: None


 


Position Summary


The Community Coordinator plays a key role in the day-to-day operation of the coworking facility while providing exceptional customer service to a diverse community of members. This position is responsible for maintaining a welcoming, organized, and professional environment while supporting members, prospective members, vendors, and facility operations.


 


Key Responsibilities



  • Oversee the daily operations of the coworking space.

  • Manage building occupancy, maintenance, and general facility needs.

  • Ensure kitchens, meeting rooms, workspaces, and shared areas are clean, organized, and inviting.

  • Communicate with members regarding property, maintenance, and facility-related issues.

  • Coordinate with members and third-party vendors to address maintenance and facility needs.

  • Meet with prospective members, provide tours, and explain membership terms and agreements.

  • Process membership agreements and assist with new member onboarding.

  • Manage CRM software and ensure timely follow-up with prospective members.

  • Handle administrative duties, including membership sign-ups, invoicing, and maintaining member databases.

  • Coordinate outside vendors for services such as trash removal, maintenance, landscaping, security, and other facility needs.

  • Respond to member requests and assist with their needs in a timely and professional manner.

  • Order office and facility supplies and maintain inventory.

  • Support team initiatives and complete additional duties as needed.


Qualifications



  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.

  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Previous experience in community coordination, customer service, property management, or a related role preferred.

  • Professional and welcoming demeanor.


Education



  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field preferred.


Physical Requirements



  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods while working at a desk and computer.

  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.


Work Environment



  • Professional, clean, and welcoming coworking environment.

  • Regular interaction with members, prospective members, vendors, and community partners.
