The Community Coordinator plays a key role in the day-to-day operation of the coworking facility while providing exceptional customer service to a diverse community of members. This position is responsible for maintaining a welcoming, organized, and professional environment while supporting members, prospective members, vendors, and facility operations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the coworking space.
Manage building occupancy, maintenance, and general facility needs.
Ensure kitchens, meeting rooms, workspaces, and shared areas are clean, organized, and inviting.
Communicate with members regarding property, maintenance, and facility-related issues.
Coordinate with members and third-party vendors to address maintenance and facility needs.
Meet with prospective members, provide tours, and explain membership terms and agreements.
Process membership agreements and assist with new member onboarding.
Manage CRM software and ensure timely follow-up with prospective members.
Handle administrative duties, including membership sign-ups, invoicing, and maintaining member databases.
Coordinate outside vendors for services such as trash removal, maintenance, landscaping, security, and other facility needs.
Respond to member requests and assist with their needs in a timely and professional manner.
Order office and facility supplies and maintain inventory.
Support team initiatives and complete additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Previous experience in community coordination, customer service, property management, or a related role preferred.
Professional and welcoming demeanor.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for prolonged periods while working at a desk and computer.
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
Work Environment
Professional, clean, and welcoming coworking environment.
Regular interaction with members, prospective members, vendors, and community partners.
