Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and fun-loving individual to work with a socially motivated young man who has an intellectual disability. This role involves helping him navigate community interactions, make friends, and engage in activities that promote his interests in music, art, and fitness.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in community activities and outings that align with the individual’s interests.

Assist in building friendships and social connections within the neighborhood.

Provide support in problem-solving and decision-making.

Help with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).

Follow established seizure protocols to ensure safety.

Qualifications:

Passion for music, art, and/or fitness, with a willingness to encourage participation in related activities.

Patient and accommodating demeanor, able to engage meaningfully during activities.

Enthusiastic about developing relationships and exploring volunteer opportunities.

Ability to establish and maintain a consistent routine and relationship.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and behavioral challenges.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Background check required.
