Community Engagement Coordinator

Living Resources is seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator to build and manage vibrant, meaningful opportunities for individuals in our Day Services programs. If you are relationship-driven, organized, and passionate about expanding community connections, we would love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

• Build Community Partnerships 
  • Develop and maintain volunteer, educational, and enrichment opportunities for program participants. 
  • Identify inclement weather activity sites to ensure year-round engagement. 
  • Track and implement activities to ensure variety and avoid overlap. 
• Coordinate Day Services Sites 
  • Assist with locating and securing new office spaces for programs, including lease coordination. 
  • Maintain positive landlord relationships and address site issues as they arise.
• Manage Online Learning Access 
  • Oversee the Kibu online service platform, including account management, renewals, and troubleshooting with customer service. 
• Engage and Represent Living Resources 
  • Attend county meetings throughout the service area (some overnight travel may be required). 
  • Participate in internal meetings and contribute to ongoing program improvement.

 Required:

• High school diploma 
• Valid NYS driver’s license with reliable transportation 
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Preferred: 

• Experience in strategic planning, public relations, or leasing/building management 
• Ability to build sustainable partnerships and creatively problem-solve
