Community Engagement Specialist

Security Federal Bank is seeking a vibrant, community-minded professional to join our team as a Community Engagement Manager.  This role is ideal for someone who thrives on connecting with others, building relationships, and creating meaningful experiences that strengthen both our community presence and internal culture.

As the face of Security Federal Bank in the communities we serve, this position will represent the Banks at events, coordinate employee participation, support sponsorship efforts, and help bring employee culture-building initiatives to life.  This position will also manage event logistics, track sponsorship impact, and ensure brand consistency across all markets.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field preferred (High School diploma required)
• 1-3 years of experience in community engagement, public relations, event planning, or employee culture/engagement
• Familiarity with the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) and/or Midlands area is a plus
• Experience negotiating with vendors, managing budgets, and processing invoices
• Strong administrative skills and a solutions-oriented mindset 
• Bi-lingual experience a plus
