Community Engagement Specialist Entry Level

We are seeking an enthusiastic and people-focused Community Engagement Specialist – Entry Level to support outreach initiatives and strengthen relationships within the community. This role is ideal for individuals looking to begin a career in community engagement, nonprofit outreach, marketing, or public relations.

In this position, you will represent partner organizations at events and outreach locations, connect with the public, and help increase awareness, participation, and support for important community programs. No prior experience is required—paid training and mentorship are provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent organizations at community events, outreach campaigns, and retail locations
• Engage with the public to promote programs, services, and community initiatives
• Build relationships with community members and encourage participation and support
• Provide clear, accurate information about organizational missions and impact
• Assist with event setup, coordination, and on-site logistics
• Track engagement metrics, feedback, and outreach performance
• Collaborate with team members and participate in ongoing training and development

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with face-to-face interactions and public engagement
• Interest in community outreach, nonprofit work, marketing, or public relations
• Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Self-motivated and eager to learn and grow professionally
• Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or outreach is a plus (not required)
