In this role, you will empower technology professionals and developers by creating engaging technical content that showcases real-world applications. You’ll represent our partner at industry conferences and virtual events, blending technical expertise with storytelling to elevate community engagement. Your efforts will help to keep our partner's technologies top-of-mind while you explore intersections with emergent technologies. Accountabilities
- Represent the company at conferences and virtual events, showcasing demos and connecting with users in authentic conversation.
- Engage with users on community forums by publishing technical thought-leadership content and responding to technical questions.
- Build relationships with industry thought leaders, influencers, analysts, and open-source communities to strengthen community support.
- Create and deliver deep-dive technical posts, workshops, videos, and tutorials illustrating practical use cases.
- Develop and maintain sample configurations, code, and reference applications to aid users in getting started.
- Act as a bridge between the community, industry stakeholders, and internal teams, gathering user feedback to inform product development.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering, or DevOps roles related to open-source tooling.
- 3–5 years in sales engineering, developer advocacy, or similar external-facing technical roles.
- Hands-on experience with proxy technologies such as BIG-IP, NGINX, and Kubernetes networking constructs.
- DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines, APIs, and automation; familiarity with AI and web application security technologies.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to various audiences through storytelling.
- Experience creating reusable technical assets such as configurations and code samples.
