Community Liaison & Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

•  Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, government officials, businesses, utilities, and economic development organizations.


• Represent Electra Grid Solutions at community meetings, industry events, and business development functions.


• Identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and support revenue growth.


• Engage stakeholders on infrastructure projects, company initiatives, and community investment opportunities.


• Research market trends, regional development projects, and potential customers.


• Collaborate with internal teams to align community engagement and business development efforts.


• Track stakeholder relationships, business leads, and partnership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.


• Three to seven years of experience in business development, community relations, stakeholder engagement, or a related field.


• Strong communication, presentation, networking, and relationship management skills.


• Ability to identify business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.


• Experience in the energy, electric utility, infrastructure, or construction sectors preferred.


• Knowledge of the New Orleans and Louisiana business community preferred.

 Work Environment

 This position is based in New Orleans, Louisiana, with local and regional travel as needed for stakeholder meetings, community events, and business development activities.
