What is PACE North? PACE stands for Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly. We are a popular option for individuals 55 and older who qualify for nursing facility level of care and wish to remain in their homes as they age. What does that mean? We care for the elderly daily both at our state-of-the-art day center on Garfield near Hammond during regular business hours Monday through Friday and as needed in their home.

What does a Community Liaison Specialist at PACE North do?

• This role is a key driver in our PACE North Community Outreach effort!
• You’re responsible for planning and executing the promotion of PACE North to our community.
• This role is designed to be the expert in all things related to the PACE North program and its benefits to the service population.
• You’ll design and implement educational events, marketing pieces, mailings, and phone contact.
• You'll also be a key player in the PACE North digital and social media space.
• Be prepared to do a lot of driving to reach partner organizations and potential participants and their families in our 7-county service area that includes Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Benzie, Manistee, Wexford, Kalkaska, and Antrim counties.
• Finally, you'll be able to provide PACE North participants with the most cheerful and professional service they've ever received!
• Please note this is a full-time, in-person opportunity.

Requirements

What qualifications should you bring to the table?

• You should have some experience in sales, marketing, college admissions, or education, and a high school diploma or equivalent plus some college coursework. A completed degree is a plus!
• We’re looking for someone who

2. Is friendly, outgoing and curious, excels at public speaking, and can give an enthusiastic elevator pitch at a moment’s notice.
3. Is a quick thinker and super professional.
4. Can navigate Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other software products effortlessly. Is a digital and social media expert!
