Community Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Community Manager for a 195-unit Section 8 Senior and Disabled apartment complex. Our ideal candidates have the personality to interact positively with applicants, residents, and teammates. They like to work hard while having fun and are strong problem-solvers. This position comes with an on-site apartment for qualified applicants. Signing bonus $500.00, with $1,500.00 Retention Bonus available. 

Job Summary:

• Proficient in PB-Section & LIHTC
• Supports in developing the annual budget and managing the budget day-to-day
• Ensuring the property is meeting KPI Goals for Occupancy, Collections, Compliance, Asset and Budget Management
• Submitting necessary weekly/monthly reporting
• Ensuring that site teams deliver Safe, Decent, and Sanitary Housing to all our residents
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS for consideration are:

• High School diploma or equivalent (College Degree is preferred)
• Minimum of two (2) years as Community Manager
• Working Knowledge of OneSite or Yardi Software
• English language proficiency (read, speak and write)
• The ability to pass a full background check

Additional preferred requirements for Affordable Housing properties: Strong experience in affordable housing programs. Participated in Management and Occupancy reviews and UPCS/REAC Inspections. Experience with resident occupied project renovations.
