We are a local property management and development company headquartered in Kansas City, MO. We have properties in the Kansas City and St. Louis Metro areas. We are a professional and supportive company looking for a hard-working team members who value their property operations and resident relations. For the current job opportunity, we are looking for an experienced Tax Credit Manager with substantial marketing, paperwork, and management skills including but not limited to:

- Ability to interact with staff and residents in a professional manner. Professional resident interaction and the ability to make your property feel like home is at the utmost importance.

- Working knowledge of Real Page or similar.

-Understanding the importance of good maintenance and not accepting unprofessional repairs. Work order processing and follow up and good knowledge of the proper make ready process. Ability to work with contractors/vendors and the bidding process to complete repairs on the property. Ability to understand the importance of inventory control and good shop organization.

- Ability to understand and follow the basics of property management 101. Such as rent collections and posting. Proper follow through of unpaid rent or other lease violations. Post and process invoices and understand the importance of the Purchase Order process. Know what the chart of accounts are for coding invoices and Purchase Orders.

- Continually trying to achieve 100% occupancy.

- Ability to understand the basic parts of your financial statement - You will be trained in what to look for.

- Perform annual unit inspections and quarterly filter changes to look for housekeeping and unit damage issues with the proper follow up.

-Know the importance of good curb appeal and how it attracts residents who care about where they live.

- Immediately bring any and all liability issues to your supervisor and follow through with the incident report process.

- Good understanding of the area college and plaza markets.

-Knowledge of all Fair Housing laws and the ADA compliance rules.
