Position Summary

As a Community Manager at Collective, you are a hospitality-driven operations leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You are responsible for driving operational excellence, resident satisfaction, occupancy performance, and financial results through strong leadership, leasing execution, and resident experience management. You take pride in delivering exceptional resident experiences while achieving strong operational and occupancy performance.


 


This position oversees a Class A multifamily community in the Minneapolis market focused on delivering an elevated resident experience and operational excellence. This role is ideal for a driven multifamily professional seeking long-term growth within a rapidly expanding organization. The ideal candidate is highly organized, operationally driven, hospitality-focused, financially accountable, and capable of leading a high-performing onsite team within a fast-paced Class A environment.


 


Compensation



  • $85k/yr-100k/yr base depending on experience

  • Commissions/bonus' based on performance

Key Responsibilities



  • Operate the community with an ownership mindset focused on resident experience, financial performance, and long-term asset value.

  • Deliver a hospitality-driven resident experience that aligns with Class A service expectations

  • Resolve resident concerns with urgency and professionalism while supporting strong resident retention.

  • Ensure all amenity spaces, common areas, and curb appeal standards consistently reflect a luxury multifamily environment

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and hold onsite team members accountable to high operational, leasing, and resident service standards.

  • Monitor and drive key performance metrics including occupancy, renewals, delinquency, resident satisfaction, and NOI performance

  • Oversee resident engagement initiatives and community events that enhance resident satisfaction and retention

  • Drive occupancy, retention, and leasing performance through strategic marketing, outreach, high-converting tours, resident experience initiatives, and proactive follow-up.

  • Assist in preparation and execution of annual operating budgets and capital planning initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and all applicable local, state, and federal housing requirements.

  • Analyze multifamily market trends, competitor positioning, and operational data to support leasing and business performance strategies.



Qualifications



  • 3+ years of multifamily property management experience required, with prior Class A or luxury multifamily experience strongly preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Professional presence with strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Driver's license & ability to pass a background check  

  • Proficiency with industry software (Appfolio preferred)

Work Environment


This position requires regular office hours to be maintained along with availability for emergency situations outside of regular office hours.
