Position Overview:
As a Community Outreach and Fundraising Assistant at Amplified Connections, you will play an important role in supporting the development and execution of community engagement initiatives and fundraising campaigns. You will work closely with the team to strengthen relationships with local communities, support outreach efforts, and contribute to the success of fundraising activities for our clients. This position offers hands-on experience in both community outreach and fundraising, providing a great foundation for your career.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Engagement: Assist in building and maintaining relationships with community organizations, local leaders, and key stakeholders to strengthen outreach initiatives.
Fundraising Campaign Support: Help coordinate and execute fundraising campaigns, including event planning, donor outreach, and communication efforts to increase participation and donations.
Research and Strategy: Conduct research to identify potential community partners, influencers, and fundraising opportunities to help enhance campaign effectiveness.
Event Support: Assist in planning and executing community outreach events and fundraising activities, ensuring smooth logistics and engaging experiences for participants.
Donor Relations: Support in managing donor communications, ensuring timely updates and appreciation for contributions.
Campaign Tracking: Help monitor the progress of fundraising campaigns, track goals, and provide reports on key metrics to ensure success.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field (preferred).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Passion for community outreach, social impact, and fundraising efforts.
Ability to work well in a team environment and effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Prior experience in fundraising, event planning, or community outreach is a plus but not required.
