Position Summary:The Community Outreach Coordinatorwill use their proactive interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels of engagement and support. This energetic andmotivatedteam player will contribute to the operational and financial success of the organization by providing world-class customer service, supportingdonor relationefforts, executing events, and byrepresentingWater for Goodin the community.
This is a high visibility position inside and outside of the organization.At all times, theCommunity OutreachCoordinator must represent Water for Good well to various stakeholders in diverse settings.
Responsibilities & Duties Overview:
Support the Development team by implementing and executing fundraising events for Water for Good, both in theNWAregionand nationally.
Organize the administration andlogisticsof events, including the décor, design, promotion, production, and any day-of-event needs.
Collaborate with local communities (businesses, churches, schools, retirement homes, etc.) toidentifymeaningful engagement opportunities (volunteering, matching gifts, employee engagement, peer to peer fundraising, events, etc.).
Represent Water for Good professionally with variousaudiences, andregularly attend and make group presentations throughout the community to engage the audience withWater for Good’s mission.
Cultivaterelationships with media outlets and keyinfluencersto increase awareness and coverage of Water for Good.
Develop and cultivate relationships with community and corporate representatives for the purpose of increasingWater for Good’s mission andinfluence in the community.
Create a positive, missional experience for new and prospective donors.
Recruit, train, organize, and support Water for Good volunteers to meaningfullygivetheir time and talent to serve others.
Support the donor relations team with any administrative duties related to donor care, including Salesforce administration, emails, phone calls, thank you notes, etc.

Work Experience & Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Passion for Water for Good’s mission of transforming lives through sustainable access to safe water, as well as improved sanitation and hygiene, in places that need it most.
Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, public relations, marketing, or other applicable degreepath.
2+ years of experience in a fundraising or development role.
Experience in the coordination,logistics, and administration of event planning.
Ableto communicate both professionally and relationally in a manner which reflectsWater for Good’s values.
Excellent time management skills, with ability to multi-task to solve issues.
Available toworkoccasional nights and weekends, depending on event dates and times.
A valid driver’s license.
Legally eligible to work in the United States; no sponsorship will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previousexperience using Project Management software, such as Asana, is a plus.
Previousexperience using a CRM, such as Salesforce, is a plus.
Physical Qualifications:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able tolift upto 25 pounds at times.
Travel Required:must be able to travel to local events around NWA.
