Job Description - Community Relations Assistant - Entry-Level
We are seeking a motivated and personable Community Relations Assistant to join our growing team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals interested in building a career in community outreach, public relations, communications, customer engagement, event coordination, or nonprofit and business relations.
As a Community Relations Assistant, you will support outreach initiatives, community events, and relationship-building efforts that help strengthen connections between our organization and the communities we serve. You will work closely with team members to assist with event planning, community engagement activities, and public-facing communications.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with community outreach programs and engagement initiatives
Support the planning, coordination, and execution of community events and activities
Build positive relationships with community members, partners, and stakeholders
Represent the organization professionally at events and public engagements

Respond to inquiries and provide assistance to community members as needed

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills and proficiency with email and office software
