Community Relations Coordinator

Senior Helpers - Polk County is seeking a dedicated and passionate Community Relations Coordinator to join our team in Lakeland, FL. This role plays a vital part in building and maintaining strong relationships within the community to promote our services and support our mission of providing exceptional senior care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement community outreach strategies to raise awareness about Senior Helpers' services.


• Establish and nurture relationships with local organizations, healthcare providers, and community leaders.


• Represent Senior Helpers at community events, health fairs, and networking functions.


• Coordinate educational workshops and seminars to inform the public about senior care options.


• Collaborate with the Director of Operations to create promotional materials and campaigns.


• Track and report on outreach activities, community engagement, and referral sources.

Requirements

• Proven experience in community relations, outreach, or a related field.


• Established relationships in the senior care industry is preferred, but not required.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.


• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.


• Familiarity with the senior care industry.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
