Community Relations Director

The Opportunity

As Community Relations Director, you will own occupancy outcomes by expanding Aqua Ridge Senior Living’s referral network and guiding prospects from first inquiry through move-in. You’ll build a quarterly sales/marketing plan, run market analyses, and execute outreach and events that resonate with ALW and CalAIM-informed partners.

Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the full sales cycle (calls, tours, deposits, move-ins) and weekly census reporting
- Maintain an accurate CRM/database: inquiries, campaigns, events, follow-ups, move-ins/outs
- Grow and educate professional referral sources; monitor competitive activity
- Manage the department budget and support compliant move-in documentation

Required qualifications:
- 21+ with required clearances, health screening/TB, and First Aid certification within 30 days
- 2+ years marketing with proven sales/leasing results; strong outside sales presence
- Organized, detail-driven, and proficient with Microsoft Office/Excel/Adobe
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs and push/pull up to 40 lbs

Onsite Rhythm

Your day begins at the community with a quick scan of census, lead status, and the week’s priorities, then you schedule outreach with the partners most active in ALW and CalAIM referral flows. You may spend the morning on the road visiting clinics, case managers, and community-based organizations, then return to prep for a tour block or a small on-campus event that helps families connect the dots from eligibility to fit. Throughout the day, you keep the CRM clean—logging touchpoints, updating next steps, and confirming timing so move-ins stay coordinated and low-friction. Before you wrap, you review what’s shifting in the local market and refine tomorrow’s plan. Some weeks include weekend time to meet decision-makers when they’re available.
