Position: Community Service Specialist/Direct Support Worker

Company/Location: Kentucky River Community Care/Letcher ADT Center/Jenkins, KY

Employment type: Regular Full-Time

Credentials: High school diploma or GED.

Special skills: Good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, computer skills, and written/oral communication skills.

Primary functions:

• Operate the Telehealth connections system for clients and health care providers.  8am – noon.
• Noon – 4pm: Work Adult Center providing care to clients with intellectual and developmental delays.
• Help clean, provide snacks/meals.  Help clients with daily goals as written in the Plan of Care.
• Complete daily notes, monthly summaries, and In/Out log for clients.

Shift/Days and Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
