La Vaquita is an indoor flea market dedicated to creating a vibrant retail hub where families can immerse themselves in diverse cultural experiences. With 500 vendors representing various countries and offering a wide array of merchandise, seasonal produce, and delicious food, our market promises an unforgettable experience for all visitors.
We are currently in search of a dynamic and self-driven Community & Leasing Manager to join our team, reporting directly to our Property Manager. Your expertise in client account management, retail leasing, and customer relations will be instrumental in optimizing our tenant infrastructure and ensuring the satisfaction of both tenants and shoppers.
Responsibilities:
Leasing:
Manage key aspects of the rental operation, including rent collection, tenant vetting, and ongoing communication.
Cultivate a steady flow of tenant leads, conduct due diligence checks, and facilitate property tours for potential tenants.
Prepare and execute rental agreements, oversee payment collection, and help maintain accurate records.
Provide tenants with up-to-date information on market policies and procedures.
Generate leasing activity reports to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
Customer Support:
Address shopper inquiries and concerns, employing effective communication and conflict resolution techniques.
Supervise the Vendor & Shopper Support Team, ensuring alignment with our mission and values.
Troubleshoot common issues, coordinate maintenance requests, and escalate complex matters as necessary.
Office Administration:
Coordinate with department leaders to ensure seamless operations.
Organize internal company events to foster team building and employee engagement.
Maintain a clean and organized office environment, manage office supplies, and handle incoming communications.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
3+ years of customer service experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
100% Fluency in both Spanish and English mandatory.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Regularly available to work weekends
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on conflict resolution.
Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.
Positive attitude and ability to build strong client relationships.
Ability to maintain and analyze basic data.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25 – $30/hr + Incentive Bonus Potential
