We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our largest clients for a position of Commvault L3 SME, to work in Columbus, IN

Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers via phone and email to effectively resolve complex issues.
• Perform data migration tasks to transition customers to new backup infrastructure.
• Install and configure backup agents for applications, databases, and hypervisors.
• Collaborate with customers and technical support to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Architect Commvault solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Consistently meet/exceed customer expectations and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field OR Bachelor of Computer Application + Master of Computer Application.
• 5+ years of experience in Backup & Recovery with at least 3 years of relevant Commvault product experience.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts for 24/7/365 coverage.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Networking, Storage, and Operating systems (Windows & Linux).
• Proficiency in TCP/IP networking, SCSI, iSCSI, or Fibre Channel.
• Expertise in Commvault implementation and troubleshooting.

Preferred Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experience with object storage (AWS S3, NetApp Storage GRID).
• Experience with data archive and search.

Desired Technical Skills:

• Advanced Industry Certifications (AWS, VMWare, Microsoft, Linux).
• Commvault Certifications (Professional, Engineer).

Additional Skills:

• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Customer-focused approach with a commitment to excellent service.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
