At Home Services for Independent Living, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and reliable companion caregiver for an elderly couple in Port Jefferson, NY. This is an ongoing part-time position beginning Friday, May 23, 2026.

Schedule:
Monday / Wednesday / Friday
9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
$20 per hour

Primary responsibilities will focus on assisting the husband and may include:
• Meal preparation
• Verbal encouragement and support with non-medical physical therapy exercises
• Possible grocery shopping/errands
• Light household tasks
• Companionship and general supervision

The ideal applicant will be kind, dependable, patient, and encouraging with a calm demeanor. Prior companion care experience preferred.
