Companion Caregiver Needed – Cutchogue, NY (Seasonal Position)

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide companion care for a pleasant elderly gentleman with dementia in Cutchogue, NY.

Position Details:
Start Date: Tuesday, May 26, 2026 (the day after Memorial Day)
End Date: Friday, September 4, 2026 (through Labor Day weekend)
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Responsibilities Include:

  Providing companionship and social engagement

  Assisting with daily routines and structure

  Light meal preparation

  
  


• 
  

  Light housekeeping related to client care

  
  


• 
  

  Ensuring a safe, calm, and supportive environment

  
  

Ideal Candidate:

• 
  

  Has experience working with individuals with dementia (preferred)

  Patient, kind, and dependable

  Strong communication skills

  Able to maintain a consistent routine and provide reassurance
