A leading international law firm is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Associate Attorney to join its Chicago office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in advising public and private companies on sophisticated executive compensation, employee benefits, M&A, securities, and IPO-related matters.
• 3–6 years of executive compensation and employee benefits experience
• Experience with equity compensation and executive compensation arrangements
• Experience with employment, retention, and severance agreements
• Familiarity with proxy disclosures and public company compensation matters
• Experience supporting mergers & acquisitions transactions and IPOs
• Strong knowledge of IRC Sections 280G and 409A
• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Strong academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted
