AmLaw 50 Firm | Complex Commercial, Product Liability, Mass Tort, and Energy Litigation

A top-tier AmLaw 50 law firm is seeking a skilled and driven Managing Associate Attorney to join its nationally recognized Litigation Business team. This opportunity is available across several U.S. offices and offers the chance to work on sophisticated and high-stakes litigation matters, including complex commercial disputes, product liability, mass tort, and energy-sector cases. The firm is known for its collaborative environment, strategic innovation, and commitment to professional growth.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education: J.D. from a top-tier law school with a strong academic track record

Bar Admission: Active membership in at least one of the following jurisdictions: CA, DC, IL, MA, NY, OR, TX, WA, or WV

Experience: 4–6 years of substantive experience in complex commercial litigation, mass tort, product liability, and/or energy litigation

Skills & Attributes:

Exceptional legal research, analytical, and writing capabilities

Experience with depositions, discovery management, and drafting dispositive motions

Ability to manage litigation strategy and execution

Demonstrated courtroom experience and a desire to take on significant responsibility

Collaborative, proactive, and entrepreneurial approach to practice

Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in diverse, high-impact litigation matters across industries including energy (both renewable and conventional), life sciences, pharmaceuticals, and technology

Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and support all phases of litigation strategy

Lead discovery processes, including taking and defending depositions, preparing interrogatories, and managing document production

Engage with clients regularly and contribute to relationship management and internal communication

Appear in court for hearings, support mediation and settlement discussions, and assist in trial preparation

Collaborate with colleagues across offices and practice areas, and support mentorship and team development initiatives

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $310,000 – $390,000 (dependent on experience)
