Job Description - Compliance Analyst (Affordable Housing) - with Growth Opportunities

Compliance Analyst - (Affordable Housing) (Corporate Office | San Diego, CA - Remote)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

This position is Full-Time | Salary | Full Benefits | Candidate must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, or Washington.

Pay: $70,000 - $73,0000/yr

WHY YOU ARE THE PERFECT FIT:

  • You have a clear understanding of affordable housing programs
  • Knowledge of state housing agencies
  • Experience with HUD and USDA application process. Understanding of monthly housing vouchers
  • Working knowledge of TRACS and understand monthly MINC reporting
  • Experience with review, and interpretation of application of Land Use Regulatory Agreements
  • Will be responsibility for approving income certification files for move-ins and/or annual recertification for HUD and/or tax credit programs
  • Experience managing state agency or HUD audits

Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Correct rent limits, utility allowances, and income limits are identified for all communities
  • Implementation status of rent limit, utility allowance, and income limit changes is tracked and documented
  • BostonPost information related to household rent, income, and set-asides is accurate and compliance-related issues are resolved efficiently
  • Federal and state audit responses are completed on-time and all information submitted is organized, accurate and professionally composed
  • Reporting assigned to the analyst is submitted to required recipients on-time and with accurate information. Status of reporting not assigned to the analyst is tracked and documented
  • Affordable community associates receive training that results in improved compliance knowledge and positive feedback from those trained
  • Compliance documentation and information is accessible and organized
  • Our residents and guests as well as fellow CONAM compliance and property management associates receive excellent customer service
