The Compliance Coordinator works in partnership with the department leaders to ensure the services provided fall within state requirements and follow each persons served Individual Support Plan (ISP) or Person Centered Support Plan (PCSP). The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all required documentation for each person served on the caseload is current, complete, and accurate.
Daily review of direct care service notes to ensure completion for billing/reimbursement
Follow up with Residential Coordinator to ensure corrections, missing notes, etc. are done within expected timeframes
Prepare billing records as assigned.
Represent Easter Seals at ISP and COS meetings
Ensure annual reviews of the Individual Service Plans (ISP) are completed.
Update electronic and paper systems with current ISPs and PCSPs and other pertinent information within 30 days of changes
Update persons served Health Passport as required
Ensure the Annual ISP packet is completed and uploaded to InfoServ
Ensure each person served has current & signed Release of Information, Consents, and Medical Consult forms
Ensure all annual assessments are completed as required and are uploaded to InfoServ
Ensure a quarterly psychiatric review is completed for persons served and uploaded to InfoServ
Schedule non-emergency medical appointments and psychiatric appointments, and communicate to Residential Coordinator for staffing purposes
Communicate to the Nursing department any other pertinent medical follow-up information
Enter medical appointment information in InfoServ.
Ensure medical appointment follow-up recommendations are scheduled per the medical consult form
Ensure approved Cost Plans are accurate and communicate necessary changes to the ISC/SC and DDA plans review department immediately
Align the Service Plan, ISP, and Cost Plan to ensure that services are approved and plans are implemented
Work with Residential Coordinators to obtain any missing or incomplete documentation
Write monthly reviews for those assigned
Submit monthly reviews to the appropriate ISC, state case manager, or Service Coordinator
Offer the Annual Member Satisfaction Survey to all members and/or families during the annual ISP meeting
Assign training specifics to the applicable staff within appropriate timeframes
Deactivate members and employees in InfoServ when they are separated from the agency
Serve as the liaison between member, family and Easter Seals
Other duties as assigned by management, which may include providing direct care in programs as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requirements
An Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
Ability to demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills
Must possess exceptional skills in Outlook, Excel, Word, and other electronic systems
Ability to demonstrate exceptional skills in handling multiple tasks and prioritizing each in order to meet stringent deadlines
3-5 years’ experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disability is preferred
Experience working with the DDA or MCO systems is preferred
Ability to spend majority of the day working at a computer
