Contract opportunity for a Compliance Coordinator working a hybrid schedule for 6 months.
- Hybrid schedule: Monday through Friday 1-2 days onsite
- Pay: $28.78/hr
As a Compliance Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the maintenance, organization and record-keeping of company-wide technical, regulatory, quality, controlled and third-party certification files, procedures and standards to help ensure ongoing compliance. This role also supports international and domestic market expansion and new product development by coordinating submission of regulatory applications to domestic and international agencies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Service, Business, Biological Sciences or similar technical field
- Minimum of 3 years in quality, regulatory or compliance within food or personal care manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 3 years experience with third-party certification standards and external/internal auditing
Your Duties:
- Prepare renewal and inspection documentation for regulatory and third-party certification company-wide audits, and registrations, and support inspections.
- Review raw material documentation for ongoing compliance, compliance in new markets, against new and emerging regulations, or in support of new product launches.
- Research current, new, and emerging local, national, and international regulations that may impact our manufacturing facility, formulations, claims or packaging compliance; synthesize into succinct memos for the Global Regulatory Compliance Manager.
- Project manage evaluation of packaging materials, communicate outstanding needs and internal approvals to appropriate lead or working group.
- Participate in internal working groups to ensure ongoing compliance of raw and packaging materials (e.g. New Raw Material Evaluation, etc.)
- Assist in addressing domestic and international compliance and registration needs.
- Help organize, create, and prepare submissions to certifiers or regulatory bodies in support of new product development or new market opportunities internationally.
- Support compliance and validation process of claims.
- Complete timely preparation of documents required for regulatory submissions and for international dossiers/technical files required for other international product registration files as required. e.g., FDA, California Department of Public Heath (CPDH), Cosmetics Supervision and Administration Regulation (CSAR), Korean Food & Drug Administration (KFDA), etc.
- Maintain and support development of internal claims and regulatory databases (e.g., packaging material restriction list to ensure safety and compliance to global regulations, VEEVA, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned within job scope.
