Summary:
Protect the integrity of gaming activity by preventing improper or unlawful conduct in the course of gaming activity. Assure that procedures are carried out in compliance with the National Indian Gaming Commission Minimum Internal Control Standards, Tribal State Gaming Compact, and the Cabazon Band of Cahuilla Indians Gaming Ordinances. Test and certify that slot machines are in compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires maintenance of strict confidentiality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Document and report employee performance issues to the Compliance Manager when directed. Arrange schedules to accommodate shift coverage when necessary. Be available to staff for problem-solving. Coordinate resources. Monitor databases, statistical collection, and compliance with revocations in process. Monitor workloads of swing and graveyard shifts.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); regulatory, auditing, or investigative experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of training and experience. Must be able to obtain a gaming license. Must have 2 years experience as a Gaming Compliance Inspector or equivalent regulatory experience.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
