Summary:

The Compliance Inspector ensures smooth and efficient operation of services with a thorough understanding of business operations and customer service. Any concerns that cannot be resolved at the Home Inspector level will be escalated to the General Manager.

Core Responsibilities

• Look at every property according to the schedule and ensure all residents are maintaining their homes in conformity with the harmony and beauty of the community.
• Double check homes where Inspection Notices have been issued and work was not completed.
• Work closely with the General Manager in processing the Inspection Notices and adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) guidelines established, ensuring timely follow up and completion of work.
• Notices that do not require any work will be filed accordingly.
• Interact with residents and convey that the work required benefits them and the community. 
• Inspections must be completed within set timeframe as well as any follow-up inspections requested by the General Manager.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• 2 years of customer service experience in a client-facing role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to exercise diplomacy and tact.
• Possess good problem-solving skills.
• Must utilize discretion in managing highly confidential or sensitive information.
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to work with all levels of management and clients.
• Ability to read, understand, and implement established policies and procedures.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and property management software (ex CINC)
• Qualified candidates will have a working knowledge of management practices, Association CC&Rs, and Bylaws.

Minimum Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Availability:

Regular business hours and after regular business hours, as necessary
