Description
As the Compliance Operations Analyst, you will work cross functionally with Safety, Recruiting, Compliance, Operations, and Accounts Payable teams to review our current processes and procedures to identify opportunities resulting in improved efficiency.
What you'll do:
· Collaborate with the Safety, Recruiting, Compliance, Operations, and Accounts Payable teams to improve margin and processes.
· Compile and analyze transactional financial and operations data from business intelligence and source systems to evaluate gaps in planned costs and efficiencies
· Collaborate with Safety and Operations to implement improvement strategies
· Provide consultative support to the business through data analyses and recommend efficiency improvements.
· Assist with monthly reporting for ongoing projects and their performance
· Perform ad hoc analyses and project management as needed
What you'll have:
· Intermodal/drayage and/or Transportation Safety related experience is preferred
· Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
· Ability to identify opportunities to increase accuracy, optimize resources and develop, recommend, and implement solutions
· Ability to drive action forward to achieve organizational goals
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
· 1 year of logistics or transportation experience
· 3 years of related work experience
· Expert level user of Microsoft Office applications Excel, Outlook, Word, OneNote, PowerPoint
· Proficiency with SQL
